Turnover jumps
Nifty January 2014 futures were at 6328, near spot closing of 6320.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 155619.86 crore from Rs 102323.92 crore on Tuesday, 14 January 2014.
Infosys January 2014 futures were at 3722.80, at a premium over spot closing of 3718.
Yes Bank January 2014 futures were at 354.40, near spot closing of 353.25.
ICICI Bank January 2014 futures were at 1064.75, at a premium over spot closing of 1060.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 79.05 points or 1.27% to settle at 6,320.90, its highest closing level since 10 December 2013.
The January 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 30 January 2014.
