NMDC Ltd fell 3.83% today to trade at Rs 111.85. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 0.84% to quote at 9857.7. The index is down 4.1 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd decreased 1.46% and Jindal Steel & Power Ltd lost 1.24% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 7.26 % over last one year compared to the 11.52% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
NMDC Ltd has lost 8.21% over last one month compared to 4.1% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 1.01% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 86893 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 4.21 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 139.5 on 23 Jan 2020. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 74.8 on 23 Aug 2019.
