PNC Infratech jumped 3.8% to Rs 204.90 after the company bagged a road project in Uttar Pradesh from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
PNC Infratech on Saturday (18 January) said it has been declared the L1 (lowest) bidder for National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)'s engineering procurement construction (EPC) road project in Uttar Pradesh for a quoted price of Rs 639 crore. The project covers four laning of highway with paved shoulders from Meerut to Haryana. Construction of this project is to be completed in 24 months.PNC Infratech (PNCIL) and its subsidiaries is engaged in India's infrastructure development through the construction of highways including BOT (built, operate and transfer projects), airport runways, bridges, flyovers and power transmission projects among others.
On a consolidated basis, PNC Infra's net jumped 300.1% to Rs 214.08 crore on an 84.9% surge in the net sales to Rs 1340.95 crore in Q2 September 2019 over Q2 September 2018.
