Power Grid gains on good Q2 outcome

Power Grid Corporation of India reported 9.49% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 2571.10 crore on 2.34% fall in total income to Rs 9659.79 crore in Q2 September 2019 over Q2 September 2018.

The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 7 November 2019.

The scrip was currently trading 0.31% higher at Rs 194.75. It is traded in the range of Rs 194.30 and Rs 195.80 so far during the day.

Power Grid Corporation of India, a 'Navratna' company operating under Ministry of Power, is engaged in power transmission business.
