Punjab National Bank announces cessation of director

With effect from 23 September 2014

Punjab National Bank announced that B. B. Chaudhry, Part-time Non-official Director under Chartered Accountant Category on the Board of the Bank w.e.f. 23 September 2011 under sub section (3)(g) of section 9 of Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause(b) of clause 9(2) of the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980 ceased to be Director on the Bank's Board and its Sub-committees w.e.f. 23 September 2014 on completion of his tenure of three years from the date of induction.
