Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index records a surge of 2.26%

Nifty PSE index ended up 2.26% at 3537.95 today. The index has added 16.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, REC Ltd rose 5.30%, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd gained 4.14% and National Aluminium Company Ltd added 3.99%. The Nifty PSE index has decreased 11.00% over last one year compared to the 10.30% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSU Bank index increased 1.88% and Nifty IT index added 1.88% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.74% to close at 11426.85 while the SENSEX increased 0.71% to close at 38024.32 today.
