Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 1.31%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.31% at 320.9 today. The index is up 11.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd gained 5.85%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd added 4.99% and Sunteck Realty Ltd slipped 2.90%. The Nifty Realty index is up 35.00% over last one year compared to the 13.38% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Auto index added 1.16% and Nifty Private Bank index has dropped 0.87% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.15% to close at 12343.3 while the SENSEX is down 0.19% to close at 41872.73 today.
