Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 3.46,NIFTY jumps 1.28%

Nifty Realty index closed up 3.46% at 266.15 today. The index is down 3.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd gained 7.57%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd added 5.14% and Oberoi Realty Ltd rose 4.52%. The Nifty Realty index is down 7.00% over last one year compared to the 14.16% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Commodities index added 2.55% and Nifty Pharma index gained 2.51% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 1.28% to close at 11515.2 while the SENSEX added 0.99% to close at 38090.64 today.
