Ratnamani Metals & Tubes hits 52-week high on new order win

Ratnamani Metals & Tubes advanced 3.75% to Rs 269.80 at 13:55 IST on BSE, after the company bagged two orders for supply of Carbon Steel Pipes aggregating to Rs 412.62 crore.

The company announced the new order win during market hours today, 11 April 2014.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 146.45 points, or 0.64%, to 22,568.88

On BSE, so far 13,697 shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 11,382 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 272 in intraday trade today, 11 April 2014. The stock hit a low of Rs 260 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 116.05 on 10 September 2013.

 

The small-cap stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 10 April 2014, gaining 47.21% compared with the Sensex's 3.56% rise. The scrip also outperformed the market in past one quarter, jumping 95.82% as against Sensex's 9.43% gain.

The company's equity capital is Rs 9.34 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

Ratnamani Metals & Tubes during market hours today, 11 April 2014 said that the company has bagged two orders for supply of Carbon Steel Pipes aggregating to Rs 412.62 crore. The supplies will begin from May 2014 and will be completed by May/June 2015, the company said.

Ratnamani Metals & Tubes' net profit rose 13.6% to Rs 35.94 crore on 28.1% rise in net sales to Rs 334.41 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.

Ratnamani Metals manufactures stainless steel seamless and welded pipes and tubes of various diameters. In addition, it undertakes job-work for drawing of pipes.
