Real Estate shares rise

Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 29.31 points or 1.39% at 2133.9 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.94%), Sobha Ltd (up 3.49%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 2.03%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 1.55%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 1.23%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were DLF Ltd (up 1.12%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.39%), and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.14%).

On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.29%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.24%) moved lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 141.41 or 0.35% at 40611.19.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 46.5 points or 0.39% at 12012.55.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 83.56 points or 0.62% at 13556.57.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 29.81 points or 0.64% at 4672.09.

On BSE,985 shares were trading in green, 511 were trading in red and 81 were unchanged.
