Real Estate shares spurt
Real Estate stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 19.05 points or 1.44% at 1344.27 at 09:53 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sobha Ltd (up 4.41%), Godrej Properties Ltd (up 2.27%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 2.14%),DLF Ltd (up 1.88%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 1.17%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.84%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 0.7%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.6%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.33%).
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 4.68%), moved lower.
At 09:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 83.83 or 0.26% at 31601.92.
The Nifty 50 index was down 29.95 points or 0.32% at 9240.95.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 62.35 points or 0.58% at 10763.66.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 28.77 points or 0.76% at 3810.18.
On BSE,829 shares were trading in green, 498 were trading in red and 77 were unchanged.
