Real Estate stocks edge higher

Real Estate stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 24.94 points or 1.03% at 2446.23 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 5.9%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 2.37%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 1.93%),DLF Ltd (up 0.53%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.25%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Sobha Ltd (up 0.19%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.1%).

On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.27%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.2%) turned lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 157.01 or 0.37% at 41795.62.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 57 points or 0.46% at 12305.3.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 23.55 points or 0.16% at 14407.26.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 2.49 points or 0.05% at 4934.62.

On BSE,673 shares were trading in green, 720 were trading in red and 68 were unchanged.
