Real Estate stocks edge lower
Real Estate stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 28.51 points or 1.14% at 2467.73 at 13:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 6.16%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 2.3%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 2.29%),Sobha Ltd (down 0.97%),DLF Ltd (down 0.81%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 0.1%), and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 0.06%).
On the other hand, Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.98%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.97%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.32%) turned up.
At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 149.14 or 0.36% at 41379.77.
The Nifty 50 index was down 42.35 points or 0.35% at 12182.2.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 6.57 points or 0.04% at 14657.74.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 9.24 points or 0.18% at 5012.22.
On BSE,1011 shares were trading in green, 1332 were trading in red and 163 were unchanged.
