Real Estate stocks rise

Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 15.05 points or 0.61% at 2469.53 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 6%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.16%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.76%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.69%),Omaxe Ltd (up 0.39%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.15%), and DLF Ltd (up 0.04%).

On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 2.31%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 1.35%), and Sobha Ltd (down 0.05%) turned lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 157.86 or 0.38% at 42030.59.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 34.95 points or 0.28% at 12378.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 102.37 points or 0.7% at 14636.23.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 27.66 points or 0.56% at 5004.75.

On BSE,1054 shares were trading in green, 378 were trading in red and 62 were unchanged.
