State Bank of Mysore lost 3.96% to Rs 436.10 at 14:46 IST on BSE after net profit declined 79.3% to Rs 30.08 crore on 4.9% growth in total income to Rs 1687.71 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012.
The Q2 result was announced after market hours on Wednesday, 6 November 2013.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 49.13 points or 0.24% at 20,845.81.
On BSE, 2,825 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 1,658 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 453 and a low of Rs 436.10 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 423.25 on 18 October 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 774.40 on 2 January 2013.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 6 November 2013, sliding 3.71% as compared to the Sensex's 4.92% rise. The scrip had also underperformed the market in the past one quarter, declining 0.6% as compared to the Sensex's 11.54% rise.

State Bank of Mysore's ratio of gross non-performing assets (NPAs) to gross advances increased to 5.96% as on 30 September 2013 from 5.61% as on 30 June 2013 and 4.33% as on 30 September 2012. The ratio of net NPAs to net advances increased to 3.69% as on 30 September 2013 from 3.43% as on 30 June 2013 and 1.92% as on 30 September 2012.
The bank's Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) as per Basel II norms stood at 11.23% as on 30 September 2013 as against 11.8% as on 30 June 2013 and 11.84% as on 30 September 2012.
Provisions and contingencies jumped 181.2% to Rs 320.19 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012.
