Tata Steel consolidated net profit rises 46.84% in the March 2022 quarter

Sales rise 38.81% to Rs 68710.60 crore

Net profit of Tata Steel rose 46.84% to Rs 9756.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 6644.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales rose 38.81% to Rs 68710.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 49499.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.

For the full year,net profit rose 436.08% to Rs 40153.93 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 7490.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales rose 56.62% to Rs 242326.87 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 154719.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
