Tata Steel reports consolidated net profit of Rs 14688.02 crore in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 7.05% to Rs 35737.19 crore

Net profit of Tata Steel reported to Rs 14688.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against net loss of Rs 1168.02 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 7.05% to Rs 35737.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 33383.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 17762.81 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against net loss of Rs 4168.57 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 16.78% to Rs 130425.45 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 111687.41 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
