Birla Corporation consolidated net profit rises 29.96% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 16.23% to Rs 1650.56 crore

Net profit of Birla Corporation rose 29.96% to Rs 131.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 100.89 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 16.23% to Rs 1650.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1420.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 29.85% to Rs 153.95 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 219.47 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 31.89% to Rs 5734.15 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 4347.67 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
