Torrent Power announces resignation of director

With effect from 12 May 2015

Torrent Power announced that the Company has received a letter dated 12 May 2015 from Renu Challu tendering her resignation as Independent Director effective from closing hours of 12 May 2015.

Accordingly, the Board has accepted her resignation at the Board meeting held on 12 May 2015 and placed on record its appreciations for the valuable services rendered by her to the Company during her tenure as Independent Director of the Company.
