Union Bank of India gains for fifth straight session

The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.06% on the day, quoting at 10866.75. The Sensex is at 36087.76, up 0.03%. Union Bank of India has gained around 7% in last one month.

 

Meanwhile, Nifty PSU Bank index of which Union Bank of India is a constituent, has gained around 5.09% in last one month and is currently quoting at 3079.9, up 0.46% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 46.8 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 88.16 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark January futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 86.55, up 0.35% on the day. Union Bank of India is down 40.37% in last one year as compared to a 4.13% jump in NIFTY and a 15.9% jump in the Nifty PSU Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 0 based on TTM earnings ending September 18.
