Beijing, April 28 (IANS) Chinese police Sunday handed over a rape suspect to their Russian counterparts, the ministry of public security said.
In 2007, Chzhan Yuntszin is suspected to have raped a 15-year-old Russian girl he adopted, Xinhua reported.
In 2010, he molested his own daughter, who was 11, the ministry said.
Chinese police arrested the suspect in Nanning in southwest Guangxi Zhuang region at the request of the Russian side.
Chinese and Russian police have strengthened cooperation to fight terrorism, drugs, and crimes related to internet.
