A 20-year-old man was killed and his friend critically injured on Friday when a speeding DTC bus rammed their scooter from behind here, police said.
Arjun, the deceased, and his friend Suresh worked as street vendors and lived in Moti Nagar. The accident took place at Brar Square in Delhi Cantonment area.
"Arjun was declared brought dead at the hospital. Suresh received injuries on his legs and other body parts," Deputy Commissioner of Police Surender Kumar told IANS.
Some passers-by caught the bus driver, Rajender Singh, who has been arrested.
