Eight killed in Iran earthquake

At least eight people were killed and 45 injured when a 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Iran's Bushehr province Thursday evening, semi-official ISNA news agency reported.
The temblor, having a depth of five km, hit Borazjan city of the province at 5.21 p.m., Xinhua reported. A number of buildings in the area were damaged, said an official of Iran's Red Crescent Society.
