Five killed in West Bengal accident

Five people were killed and six others seriously injured Friday when the vehicle in which they were travelling collided with a truck in West Bengal's Birbhum district, police said.

The incident happened on a national highway near Rampurhat. "While three people died on the spot, two succumbed to injuries in a hospital," police officer Jobi Thomas said.
