The worlds biggest talent scouting and training programme, Stairs School Football League (SSFL), saw the launch of its chapter here on Tuesday.

After a successful stint in Delhi and Gujarat, the SSFL will aim to make a similar impact in the most populous state of India in partnership with the Football Sangh.

"The objective of SSFL-is to identify, support and nurture football talent in the most populous state of India. We have been getting continuous support from Ltd -- India's largest flexible packaging company as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative," the SSFL said in a statement.

The SSFL will initially operate in two regions of Uttar Pradesh -- Gorakhpur and Varanasi -- which will consist of eights districts of Chandauli, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Deoria, Kushinagar and Gorkahpur.
