Former Nepal PM Prachanda to meet Sushma

Former Nepal prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday as the constitution drafting process in the Himalayan nation gathers momentum.

Prachanda will meet Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar ahead of his meeting with Sushma Swaraj.

He will also call on President Pranab Mukherjee.

The Unified Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist chairman is here on a seven-day visit, from July 14 to 20.

The first draft of the constitution was presented at the Constituent Assembly recently and discussions over it are continuing.
