Haryana recommended CBI probe into land acquisitions, CM tells Assembly

The government has recommended a CBI probe into alleged irregularities committed during the previous rule vis-a-vis land acquisition in and districts, told the Assembly on Tuesday.

Speaking during Zero Hour in the Budget Session of the Assembly here, he said the opposition had no right to talk about the plight of farmers.

"They themselves acquired land of farmers to benefit some builders," he alleged.

said the state had already handed over to the CBI investigation into three cases related to re-allotment of a plot to in Panchkula near here, an industrial plot in Panchkula, and the Manesar land case.

"We do not take action against anyone due to revenge or malice. All actions and decisions are taken only after investigation," the added.
