India 348/6 at tea

IANS Mumbai

India reached 348/6 in the first innings at tea on the third day of the fourth Test against England here on Saturday.

India skipper Virat Kohli (83) Ravindra Jadeja (22) were at the crease at the break.

Joe Root (2-17) and Moeen Ali (2-118) wre the most successful bowlers for England.

For India, opener Murali Vijay scored his eight century in the morning session. He was dismissed after lunch for 136.

India were 247/2 at lunch.
