Internacional bridge gap at top of Brazil Serie A

A late Rafael Moura strike handed Internacional a 1-0 victory at Atletico Paranaense in Brazil's Serie A football championship.

Moura latched onto to Valdivia's scuffed attempt to shoot past Weverton from close range with nine minutes remaining at the Arena da Baixada here Saturday, reports Xinhua.

The result consolidated third spot in the standings for Internacional and lifted them to within eight points of league leaders Cruzeiro. Atletico Paranaense slipped to 11th, 13 points further back.
