Israeli forces Sunday hit two Syrian positions in the capital Damascus, striking near the international airport of Damascus and the Al Dimas countryside, a media report said.
Israel targeted two safe areas in the countryside of Damascus, namely Al Dimas and the international airport of Damascus without leaving human losses, Xinhua reported citing the state-run SANA news agency.
Further details about the strikes were awaited.
The Israeli air force has struck several Syrian military sites over a span of nearly four year.
In 2013, Israeli missiles struck a research centre near Damascus and another site.
