Klose signs extension with Lazio

German striker Miroslav Klose has confirmed that he has agreed to extend his stay with Italian football club Lazio for another year.

The 35-year-old forward, who has been linked with a move back to Germany or a switch to the MLS, revealed Friday that he had re-signed with Lazio for extension, reports Xinhua.

"I am very happy to be a part of a project where I have an important role to play," he said.
