Kristen Wiig turns down 'Bridesmaid 2'

Hollywood actress Kristen Wiig says she has turned down an opportunity to star in "Bridesmaids 2" despite knowing that it would have minted money.

The 39-year-old wrote the script for "Bridesmaids", in which she also played a role. But being a part of its sequel was not something that excited her, reports contactmusic.com.

"It wasn't a hard decision. We knew during the first one, this was it," she told Harper's Bazaar.

"We would have made a lot of money if there was a second one, but that's not my goal in my creative life," she added.
