Maoist camp destroyed in Jharkhand
A Maoist camp was destroyed in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district on Thursday and a Maoist supporter arrested, police said.
A joint team of the state police and CRPF personnel detected the camp situated in Porahaat jungle area.
Rifles, mortar, live cartridges and a huge quantity of explosives including 10 bombs, codex wire and an electronic detonator among other things were recovered.
The Maoist guerrillas managed to escape and a search operation is on to arrest them, said police.
