NIA inspector shot dead

A National Investigation Agency inspector was shot dead while returning from a wedding in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district, sources said on Sunday.

Inspector Mohammad Tanzil and his wife were shot at by unidentified assailants on motorbikes who followed the couple near Sahaspur town on Saturday night.

His wife was critically also injured and was rushed to Cosmos Hospital in Moradabad.
