Pakistan teenager commits suicide after killing classmate

A Pakistani teenager has committed suicide after killing a female classmate at a private school in Karachi, police said on Tuesday.

The male student shot dead his classmate - both students of Class 10 - before committing suicide in the classroom. Neither was named in the media reports.

A student told Geo News they heard shots when they were attending the assembly. They found the two students lying dead in a pool of blood.

Both students had written letters to their parents, apparently asking for forgiveness. Police are examining the letters to determine their authenticity.
