Seven robbers held in Ghaziabad

Seven robbers, planning to commit a robbery on Friday midnight were arrested here and two stolen vehicles and some weapons seized from them, police said in Saturday.
Addressing a press conference, Ghaziabad Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said that at Friday midnight, a team of Sahibabad police nabbed seven robbers from near Koyal Enclave on the tip of an informer.
During sustained interrogation, they revealed that they robbed a Qualis and a Balero Jeep from a person in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur earlier this month. The gang, headed by Guddu Yadav, a resident of Bareilly, also comprised Budhpal, Manoj, Akhilesh, Sanjiv, Amit and Jayant, all residents of Shahjahanpur.
Police recovered two pistols, three home-made pistols of .32 and .315 bore, two knives and huge stock of live cartridges along with the two vehicles from them.
