Six soldiers were killed and one was wounded Sunday when a military cargo plane crashed near an airport in Egypt, a media report said.
The reconnaissance aircraft crashed near the military airport in Fayyoum province, 85 km south of Egyptian capital Cairo, Xinhua quoted state-run Ahram newspaper as saying on its website.
The plane was heading to the airport but crashed a few kilometres before landing due to a technical failure, the report said.
