A six-year-old girl was raped by a 35-year-old rickshaw-puller here, police said Monday. The attacker has been arrested.
The incident was reported late Sunday evening from Khayala area in west Delhi.
According to police, the victim was playing outside her house when rickshaw-puller Shambhu Shah, who lived in neighbourhood, lured her into his house and raped her. The victim's mother later saw her crying outside the house.
The child was taken to a hospital where rape was confirmed.
Police said the attacker was arrested from his house late Sunday night.
