Tejpal case: woman deposes before magistrate in Goa

The young journalist who has accused Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal of sexually assaulting her appeared before a judicial magistrate in Goa to dispose.

Police sources said the woman was secretly flown to Goa and taken to a trial court complex in Panaji, where her statement was recorded before a judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) in 'B' Court under section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
