US economy grew 3.2 per cent in Q4

The US economy grew at an annual rate of 3.2 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2013, down from the revised rate of 4.1 per cent in the third quarter, the Commerce Department revealed Thursday.
The figure matched the expectation of economists and showed the economy remained resilient despite budget battles and a 16-day partial federal government shutdown in October, Xinhua reported.
