Wang-Yu win Denmark Open title

Chinese shuttlers Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang won the women's doubles title at the $600,000 Denmark Open Super Series Premier here Sunday by beating Japanese third seeds in two straight games.

The former World No.1 pair defeated Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi 21-14, 21-14 in 46 minutes at the Odense Sports Park, reports Xinhua.

"We are very pleased with the way we played this tournament. We felt confident throughout the tournament," Wang said.
