We work as a team on foreign policy: Modi

The government works as a team on issues of foreign policy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday.

Admitting that foreign policy was a new subject to him when he took over as Prime Minister in May 2014, Modi said: "We work as a team."

He said the External Affairs Ministry, the Prime Minister's Office, the Commerce Ministry and the Defence Ministry, "we work as a team.

"This impact you see (on foreign policy) is not because of Modi, but because of the team," Modi told TimesNow in an interview.
