Woman found dead near former MP's house

An unidentified woman's charred body was found near the house of a former Delhi MP here, police said Tuesday.

The body of the woman, aged around 30, was found around 1 a.m. Tuesday outside BJP leader and former MP Lal Bihari Tiwari's house in the Jaffrabad area of east Delhi.

"We reached the spot after a passerby made a call after finding the woman's body in a charred condition. She died with 90 percent burn injuries," said the officer.

A case regarding the incident has been registered and efforts are on to identity the dead woman.
