Predictably, Indian Oil’s conference to declare its annual and fourth quarter results on Monday was all but hijacked by the burning topic of the petrol price rise. Most of the questions the media asked centred on why prices had been raised and the possibility of a cut. As a result, before winding up the question-answer session, Chairman R S Butola asked with gentle humour, “Are there any more questions on petrol?”
