Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, who hasn't exactly had the best of times of late, was caught on camera dozing off during the long discussion on price rise in the Lok Sabha, a debate that the Opposition had, in fact, demanded. Not only did the clip of a dozing Gandhi go viral on social media, it also sparked a war of words between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party camps, with parallels being drawn as far back as former Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and H D Deve Gowda, who were famous for taking catnaps. On Budget day, therefore, the Gandhi scion made it a point to be seen taking copious notes while listening to Arun Jaitley's Budget speech in the Lok Sabha. This had some wondering whether the note-taking was only a tactic to stay awake during the unusually long speech.
