TV versus print

During the announcement of the Cairn-Vedanta merger, reporters from some television news channels created a ruckus in their bid to be the first to ask questions. This left Tom Albanese, CEO, Vedanta Resources Plc, a little perplexed. The group's communication head then took charge, asking the television reporters to give their print media counterparts a chance to ask questions and gestured to Albanese not to answer any question from television reporters. To that, Albanese said, "Listen to the communication manager. I always listen to her."
