Mumbai-based realty developer Peninsula Land and Canada-based Brookfield Financial have launched a Rs 1,000 crore real estate fund recently.
The fund has a targetted corpus of Rs 750 crore and a green shoe option of Rs 250 crore. The fund will invest in residential properties. Peninsula, part of Ashok Piramal group and Brookfield entered into a 50:50 joint venture in 2011 to invest in residential and commercial assets
