Life Time Achievement Award presented to Rajesh Sharma by Water Digest

Rajesh Sharma, Vice President & Managing Director of Ion Exchange India Limited has been honored by Water Digest with a Life Time Achievement Award. Rajesh Sharma has dedicated more than three decades of his life to the water solutions industry offering his excellence in the field to his company. The function was hosted at The Park Hotel, Parliament Street, New Delhi.
M. Ramchandran, Secretary of Urban Development, FAO chief, Gavin Wall, A K Bajaj, Chairman of Central Water Commission, and B R Neupane, Regional program specialist of IHP South East and Central Asia were some of the dignitaries present to grace the occasion and present the awards. They presented the biggest award of anybody’s life to Rajesh Sharma for providing total water management solutions to all sectors like, home, industries & communities.
Rajesh Sharma VP & MD of Ion Exchange India Limited and has offered his services to the water treatment field from last three decade. Sharma joined Ion Exchange in the year 1974 and from then he has been an instrument in sourcing technology and partnerships with leading specialists companies, as well as developing business relations with leading EPC contracting companies.
Water Digest, had instituted “Water Awards” for honoring distinguished work carried out in the water sector in India in the year 2006. Water Digest in association with UNESCO and WES-Net India is going to award individuals and organisations for their exemplary work in the field of water. Water Digest has evolved from the need to have a neutral international water related platform for all those associated with it. Be it researchers, manufacturers or policy makers.
