Former Manipur minister dies in Delhi

Khan, 53, who had represented Keirao assembly constituency in Imphal East district for two terms on a Congress ticket, is survived by wife Sufura Begum, four sons and two daughters.

His last rites would be performed at his birthplace at Kiyamgei Muslim Awang Leikai after bringing the body from New Delhi today, the sources said.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and Congress functionaries condoled the death.
