An FIR was registered against a gram pradhan and seven others in connection with the death of a person during clashes between two groups here, police said today.
An argument broke out between Tejbir Singh and Mangeram in Khatoli police station area last week,
Circle Officer Rajiv Kumar Singh said.
The two sides later came to blows, he said.
Tejbir was injured in the incident and rushed to the hospital. He died during treatment yesterday, the officer said.
Eight persons, including gram pradhan Shivkumar, have been booked in this connection, police said.
The matter is being investigated, they added.
